On Friday March 19th, in acknowledgement of World Down Syndrome Day, Family Guardian and its general insurance arm, FG Insurance Agents & Brokers (FGIAB), hosted twenty children from the Down Syndrome Centre to a day of fun and treats.  The event, which took place on the grounds of the Centre, featured character performances, balloon animals, food, games and treats.

Alicia Culmer, Senior Manager FGIAB and Mortgages noted “World Down Syndrome Day may be a little different this year due to the pandemic, but there are still lots of fun ways to celebrate. Our aim was to host a COVID-safe event with enjoyable activities for the children as we put into practice this year’s theme for World Down Syndrome Day – CONNECT.”
