Job Description



  • Courteous and prompt verification of member benefits in accordance with plan benefits and departmental policies and procedure
  • Responds to incoming requests, identifying and assessing needs quickly and accurately
  • Timely administration of local and international pre-certifications;
  • Accurate and timely dissemination of pre-certification forms to Providers and Facilities
  • Assists with the pre-logging of claims (minimum of 150 unless otherwise specified);
  • Provide prompt assistance to Client Services, Claims, and any other units as required in order to resolve issues




  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a customer service role
  • Associates Degree or relevant job experience
  • ACS, FLMI designations or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Must possess strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Must exhibit high level of confidentiality
  • Strong propensity for accuracy
